Sarah Strukan has been working professionally with senior resources and industry leaders for over ten years. Her goal has always been to support people in their lives through what could be a challenging time with many decisions ahead.
Sarah was born and raised on a horse farm in the bluegrass state of Kentucky. In 2009 Sarah relocated to Northern California and started her career working for a hospice agency. Sarah grew in her hospice career working with hospitals, skilled nursing, physicians and local resources serving on the board for her local Alzheimer’s Association chapter. She then transitioned from Hospice to a Senior Living Community. It was a new experience into more resources and how each Senior Community had unique qualities. Sarah felt that she needed to broaden her experiences from working in a senior community and went to pursue a professional career with the non-profit VNA Home Health, Hospice, Palliative and Wellness program. While there she took an active role in the United Veterans Council supporting veterans and their health needs.
Each of Sarah’s professional experiences have helped to grow her expertise and network with resources that are an inevitable necessity to each of us at some time in our lives.
Why Bixby

Turn to someone with the experience you can trust; who can see the whole picture when care decisions become not only difficult but overwhelming.
You don’t have to do this alone and we can help make the decisions and choices less daunting for you and your loved ones.
My Inspiration

Sarah moved to California in 2009 to be closer to her grandparents, Betty and Bruce. It was important for her to be near them as they aged and care for them however possible. Betty and Bruce were the people that inspired her love of senior care; cementing a passion to provide consistent and compassionate care whenever possible.
Bixby Bridge is a national landmark on the Big Sur coast of California, less than fifteen miles from where Sarah lived. Bixby symbolizes her inspiration for continuing to help families connect with the resources they need for senior planning, bridging the gaps in the senior healthcare system today.
